Handling of Personal Information of People Residing and Staying in People’s Republic of China
Our Group will comply with the Personal Information Protection Act in China and related laws and regulations, appropriately handle personal information of those residing and staying in China, and strive to protect their privacy.
In addition to the body of this Policy, the provisions of this Schedule shall apply to the handling of personal information of persons residing and staying in China. In the event any of the provisions of the body of this Policy conflict with those stipulated in this Schedule, the provisions of this Schedule shall prevail.
Personal Information to be Acquired
Our Group may collect the following personal information (including sensitive personal information):
- Business partner information
Name, Phone number, Address, Email address, Workplace information (company name, department, position, address, Phone number, Fax number), Business card
Sensitive personal information：N/A - Personal information of Our Group's Employees
Personal identification and contact information; documents and information required by immigration-related laws and regulations; salary and benefits; job position; personnel management information; attendance management information; system and application registration data; compliance management information; health and medical information; and information related to business trips, travel, and expense reimbursement
Sensitive personal information： Identification card number, passport information, details of residence and work permits, bank account information, disciplinary records, criminal and administrative sanction records, fingerprint information, facial recognition information (including facial photographs), financial and itinerary information related to business trips, travel, and expense reimbursement, information related to litigation, and information related to housing leases for foreign employees (such as the landlord's identification card, real estate certificate, bank account, health and medical information, marriage certificate, relative's death certificate, child's birth certificate, family members' identification card numbers and passport numbers, etc.), as well as information regarding children under the age of 14
When collecting sensitive personal information as listed above, Our Group will obtain the consent of the data subject separately.
Sensitive personal information collected by Our Group from persons residing in China is necessary for Our Group's recruitment activities or for the improvement of Our Group's goods and services, and does not affect Owner’s individual rights and interests.
Please note that Our Group may process personal information without the consent of the data subject in cases where there are legal reasons as defined the Personal Information Protection Law or other applicable laws in China.
Purpose of Handling Personal Information
Our Group collects, retains, and uses personal information of persons residing and staying in China for the purposes listed in the body of this Policy “Use of Personal Information”.
Retention Period of Personal Information
Our Group stores (i) Business partner information for the period during which transactions are ongoing and any period reasonably considered likely to initiate (including resume) a transaction, (ii) personal information of Our Group's Employees for the duration of employment contracts and other agreements, the period required by law for record retention, and the period expected to be necessary for the efficient execution of the purposes of processing personal information, (iii) other personal information shall be stored only for the period necessary to achieve the above-listed purposes of acquisition and use.
The specific retention period will be determined in consideration of the purpose for which personal information is acquired and used, the nature of personal information, and the legal or operational necessity to maintain personal information.
Protection of Personal Information
- Our Group has taken security measures in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to protect personal information and to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, use, change, damage or loss of data. Our Group has established an organization for information management as a company, has implemented personnel measures such as education for Employees, and has taken technical measures concerning information security.
- Data security capabilities of Our Group meet the standards required by labour inspectorates and cyber security competent departments in China.
- Our Group will take all reasonable and practical measures to prevent unnecessary personal information from being obtained. Our Group stores personal information only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes set forth in this Policy. Except as may be required or permitted by law to extend the storage period.
- The network environment is not 100% secure. Our Group will use its best efforts to secure or ensure the security of the information that Owner sends to Our Group. Our Group is legally responsible for any unauthorized access, disclosure, tampering, or damage to Owner’s personal information resulting from damage to Our Group's physical, technical, or administrative shelters that adversely affects Owner’s legal rights and interests.
- In the event of a personal information security incident, Our Group will inform Owner of the impact that is considered to be the basic status of the personal information security incident (type and cause of personal information leaked, falsified, or lost), the countermeasures that Our Group has already implemented or is scheduled to implement, the proposals to Owner regarding self-prevention and risk reduction, and Our Group's improvement measures to Owner without delay in accordance with laws and regulations. This information will be announced by e-mail, fax, telephone, push notification, etc., but in the event it is difficult to notify the personal information subject individually, the information will be disclosed appropriately and effectively.
At the same time, Our Group will take the initiative in reporting the handling of personal information security incidents in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Owner’s Rights
Owner has the following rights to personal information held by Our Group:
- Right to require access, correction or deletion of personal information based on withdrawal of consent, etc.;
- Right to view and copy personal information; and
- Right to restrict or refuse the processing of personal information by persons other than Our Group
Transfer of Personal Information Outside China
In principle, personal information obtained in China is stored in China.
Our Group may, with Owner’s consent, share Owner’s personal information with Our Group companies outside China (See table below for specific information). The personal information provided may be collected, stored, used, processed, provided, disclosed, etc., by the third party to whom it is provided.
Our Group will also take other security measures before providing personal information outside China.

Transfer of Personal Information
Our Group does not transfer personal information to any company, organization, or individual, except in the case of mergers, acquisitions, or declaration of bankruptcy.
If the transfer of personal information involves mergers, acquisitions, or declaration of bankruptcy, Our Group will notify Owner of the name and contact information of the new company or organization to which Owner’s personal information is transferred and require them to continue to be bound by this policy, or, if not, require the new company or organization to again require Owner’s consent.
Handling of Personal Information of Minors Under the Age of 14
When handling the personal information of minors under the age of 14, Our Group shall obtain the prior individual consent of the parent or other guardian of the minor.
When handling the personal information of minors under the age of 14 with the consent of the parent or other guardian of the minor, such personal information will be handled only when legally permissible, the parent or other guardian of the minor consents, or when necessary for the protection of minors under the age of 14.
When Our Group discovers that Our Group has collected personal information of minors under the age of 14 without the prior confirmed consent of the minor's parents or other guardian, Our Group will delete such personal information immediately.
Update of this Privacy Policy
When this privacy policy is updated, the previous version of this privacy policy will be archived for Owner’s reference and obtain Owner’s consent if required by law.
