Group Privacy Policy
Taikisha Ltd. and its affiliated companies (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Group" “Taikisha Group”or “we”) shall comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and other regulations regarding the protection of personal information, and has established its own independent rules and systems taking both domestic and international trends into consideration with regard to personal information belonging to Group's customers, business contacts, workers and other involved parties, which will be used only for specific operational purposes. Group has established the following privacy policies (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") and hereby declares that they execute and adhere to these policies at all times.
- Each Group company shall establish its own privacy policy for the handling of personal information, thoroughly remind the employees, including Group's executives, full-time workers, temporary workers, part-time workers (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Employee(s)"), and routinely improve and maintain the rules appropriately. In the event that such policy of each Group company conflict with or contradict this Policy, this Policy shall prevail.
- Group shall collect, use, and provide personal information appropriately and only within the scope necessary for fair business operations.
- Group shall take adequate IT security measures, such as those for unauthorized accesses, computer viruses, and other problems in order to prevent personal information from being lost, destroyed, altered, or leaked.
- Group shall comply with the laws, ordinances, and other regulations related to the protection of personal information.
- Group shall continuously endeavor to review and improve its activities regarding the protection of personal information.
Acquisition of Personal Information
- We will acquire personal information for specific purpose of use to the extent necessary to achieve such purposes.
- When acquiring personal information, we will use a lawful and appropriate method. Particularly when acquiring personal information from a third party, we will first confirm that such information has been obtained by such third party in a lawful and appropriate manner and ensure we do not unfairly harm the interests of personal information’s owner identifiable by evidence (the “Owner”) in terms of privacy or any other aspect.
- In handling and acquiring sensitive personal information, we will take special care, complying with the provisions of applicable laws and ordinances.
Use of Personal Information
Group uses personal information for the following purposes:
- Personal information from business partners, including customers, suppliers, and shareholders (“Business partner information”) for:
- concluding and executing contracts, including the provision of products and services, and managing concluded contracts in an appropriate manner.
- concluding and executing contracts between Group and its business partners, managing contracts after they are concluded, and making other necessary contacts with business partners.
- implementing various measures to build and maintain a smooth relationship between Group and its business partners, and providing various benefits.
- providing information on products and services and other information on Group's business activities.
If a business partner does not wish to provide personal information to Group, the business partner may refuse to provide it to Group; provided, however, that if personal information is not provided, that may interfere with the provision of Group's services or the performance of the contract.

- overall personnel and labor management within Group, including employment management such as payroll, attendance management, recruitment management (including recruitment preparation), labor management, personnel appraisal, transfer and secondment management, education and guidance, and welfare benefits
- periodic audits, investigations into violations of internal and external rules, and prevention, investigation, detection, and resolution of misconduct or troubles
- business succession due to mergers, company splits, business transfers, or other reasons
- responding to requests or orders for information from government and other similar or non-governmental organizations and complying with applicable laws, judgments, sanctions, tariffs and regulations
- prevention, detection and investigation against crime (including fraud), protection and enforcement of contractual and legal rights
If an employee does not wish to provide personal information to Group, the employee may refuse to provide personal information to Group; provided, however, that if personal information is not provided, it may interfere with his/her benefits or the performance of the employment contract.
- In case that there is a risk of harming the Owner’s or third parties’ life, body, property, or other rights and interests;
- In case that there is a risk of significant interference with the proper execution of Taikisha Group's business; or
- In case that there is a violation against laws and regulations.
- where the Owner has given permission or made any action equivalent thereto;
- where providing personal information is necessary for the preparation or performance of a contract to which the Owner is a party;
- where we provide personal information to a service contractor or other party to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use;
- where providing personal information is necessary for the protection of life, health, property or other important interests of the Owner and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the Owner; or
- where the purpose of use of personal information, the party to whom personal information is to be submitted and others have been notified in advance to the Owner or publicly announced in the case of mutual use of personal information between a specific party and us; or
- where providing personal information is a legal obligation in a country or is otherwise necessary for the public interest; or
- where providing personal information is necessary for succession of business such as merger, company split, transfer of business.

Sharing in the "Construction Site Series"Taikisha Ltd. will share personal information in the "Construction Site Series" which is the ASP service for the construction industry operated by MC Data Plus, Inc. Transferring of Personal Information Outside the Country
Each Group company may provide personal information to the other Group compani(es) outside its own country. In this case, such Group company will take the necessary measures for the transfer outside the country in accordance with the laws and regulations of the country. We realize that special treatment for personal information of persons who reside and stay in the following countries is required. Please refer to each of the following pages for details
Some Group companies that receive personal information are located in third countries that have not been certified as having adequate data protection by the data protection authority of the countries transferring personal information abroad, but Our Group has concluded personal data transfer agreements between and among Group companies that share personal information, in order to protect personal information at an adequate level.

Retention Period of Personal Information
Group shall store personal information only for the period necessary to achieve the above-listed purposes of acquisition and use. The specific retention period will be determined in consideration of the purpose for which personal information is acquired and used, the nature of personal information, and the legal or operational necessity to maintain personal information.
Security Control Measures
We take organizational, technical and physical security control measures to prevent personal information from being, leaked, lost and destroyed. We train the Employees who handle personal information to acquire adequate handling skill of personal information.
Disclosure Process of our Holding Personal Information
If Owner or its agent requests us to disclose personal information (including records provided to third parties), or to correct, add, delete or stop using personal information, we take appropriate action without delay in accordance with laws and regulations, except in the following cases, after identity verification. In addition, if we do not disclose it or do not hold the personal information, we will respond to that effect without delay.
In addition, Our Group will, after proper investigation, in accordance with laws and regulations, respond to Owner or its agent’s requests for correction, addition, or deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties, of personal information we hold.

Our Group will comply with the applicable laws and regulations to an extent reasonable after confirming the identity of the requesting party.
Providing Personal Information to Third Parties
We will not provide any personal information obtained by us to any third party excluding:
Subcontractors and Service Providers
In case that Group subcontracts a part of its business activities or use a service from a third party, Group may provide personal information with the subcontractors or service providers to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use. In this case, Group shall properly manage and supervise the subcontractors or service providers, including the conclusion of contracts for the handling of personal information with them.
