Business outline Taikisha is engaged in the design and construction of large scale paint finishing plants for automobile manufacturers both in Japan and abroad, including U.S., Europe, Korea, China, and India. Our paint finishing plants for automobiles, which blends energy-saving technologies with advanced functions for pollution prevention, boasts top-class worldwide sales.
External environments and future expectations The demand for automobiles in emerging countries, including BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India, and China) has been increasing. Among them, the production and sales figures of automobiles in China for 2009 surpassed those of the U.S. to become the highest in the world. These figures are likely to continue to increase. Following the Lehman collapse, the number of orders received by our company decreased. However, we expect to produce superior sales results in the near future due to the current increase in the number of orders received from automobile manufacturers not only in Japan but also foreign countries. |
